“Before we met, I couldn’t care less about coffee. Now I actually enjoy it. I know what I like and why I like it. That’s all because of you and your passion for roasting. That’s how I knew this was something I needed to be a part of and I needed to make sure you continue to do it.”

These words from Daysol Coffee Lab co-owner Peter Solis make up half of the meaning behind our name (the Sol). The other half is driven by what Peter speaks of: Head Roaster Bert Davis’ passion for roasting remarkable coffee (the Da).

The Y is what brought their two journeys together to form Daysol Coffee Lab.

We are business partners with a vision, but above all else, we are friends letting coffee do what it has done for centuries, and that is bring people together to share their journeys.

Our coffee

Daysol Coffee Lab is centered around the concept of adventure and journey and our approach to coffee is no different. We recognize the importance of what it takes to get a coffee from seed to plant to harvest to roast to cup and we want to ensure that each part of that journey is thoughtfully considered. Our #1 goal is to create coffees that provide high quality taste to your everyday person and coffee snob alike. Coffees so smooth that they make you think twice about adding all that cream and sugar!

Our coffee and the farmers behind it are carefully sourced and the beans we choose to offer are cupped and sampled to ensure we offer only the highest quality coffees possible. Those beans are then roasted by our Head Roaster, Bert Davis, on our Diedrich IR-12 roaster that was handcrafted in Ponderay, ID. We roast our beans to peak flavor profile which typically places them in the light to medium roast level. Once they reach their peak, the beans are then packaged in our hand labeled bags and personally shipped or delivered to each and every one of our customers.

Just like these coffee beans, we each have our own unique journey that is ours and no one else’s. While others may not be able to write our journey, they can share in the adventure of it. Daysol Coffee Lab seeks to share in your adventure by providing you with the means to get it started and the fuel to keep it going. We typically offer 3-4 different selections and, staying true to our “coffee lab” name, occasionally something unique and special that you may not find or experience often. In our coffees we are certain that you’ll find something just right and would love to answer any questions you have regarding our offerings. Thanks for having us along for the ride!
